Quote follow-up texts, by trade

Replace {Business name}, {First name} and {job} with real details. Stop sending the moment the customer replies.

5 tips for quote follow-ups

  1. Ask first. When you hand over the estimate, ask: "Is it OK if we text you a couple of times about this?" Only text people who say yes.
  2. Name the job. "The water heater estimate" is easier to remember than "our quote." People often have several quotes open.
  3. One question per text. "Any questions?" or "Want us to hold a time?" is easy to answer from a phone.
  4. Stop at three. Day 2, 5 and 9 is enough. After that, it stops feeling helpful.
  5. Stop the moment they reply. A reply, even "not yet," means it's a conversation now. Answer it yourself.

Callwake's Quote Follow-up sends these on schedule in your wording and stops automatically on reply.
